WHAT MAKES LUTB UNIQUE COMPARED TO OTHER EXISTING SERVICES:

Existing homeless agencies offer either shelter/housing, food, and/or training, but only one of these search out, develop relationship with and rescue the homeless from the streets. LUTB searches out and rescues the homeless, and creates individualized solutions for their unique situation and needs by partnering with and placing the homeless correctly with existing agencies.  LUTB maintains an ongoing relationship with the homeless to improve persistence until they are fully rehabilitated and ready to lead a productive life again.  The homeless problem is addressed through stable caring relationships and an alliance with secure housing solution that both rehabilitates addictions and provides skills training.

In order to drive sustainable change, LUTB’s solution is four fold:

1.      OUTREACH: Search out and rescue the homeless.

2.      RELATIONSHIPS & TRUST: Develop and sustain quality, ongoing relationships to enhance persistence in education and rehabilitation.

3.      LIGHTHOUSES: Long Term Supportive All-Inclusive Transitional Restoration Houses-secure housing solution that both rehabilitates addictions and provides skills training.

4.      COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS: Partner with concerned individuals, local businesses, government and existing homeless services to develop resources and rectify family of origin dysfunctions.
